About the Practitioner

Omar Holmes has been a Certified Massage Therapist for over six years. He lives in Atlanta by way of Ohio and worked as a health assistant and fitness coach in many popular fitness centers throughout the city. It was during his time in the health and fitness industry that he became interested in massage therapy. At first, he saw it as method of assisting his clients in recovering from and preventing injuries, but it soon became a passion and he attended the American Academy of Reflexology. There, his skills in the Flocco Method-intergrating foot, hand and ear reflexology were developed and he began to hone his talents in deep tissue, prenatal, Swedish massage, and lymphatic drainage.

Omar believes in the body’s ability to heal itself and that massage therapy is one of the many paths to restoring health and wholeness to the body. Since his career in massage therapy began, Omar has worked in some of the city’s most popular wellness centers and spas and has experience with on-site corporate and private events.  Omar has had the pleasure of working at Spa Sydell where he obtained a lead therapist position (Forum at Peachtree Parkway) (Alpharetta) & (Pleasent Hill) locations.  Omar also worked at Sanda Gane' European day Spa (Alpharetta), Key Lime Pie (North Highlands).  You can find Omar currently working @ Tranquility Spa @ Lake Lanier Islands Resort (Buford), Natural Body (Atlanta) OM SPA, LLC (Atlanta)  Spa Utopia (Luxury Mobile Spa) Zee Atlanta (Luxury Mobile Spa).  Four Seasons (Atlanta Hotel) or Jurlique Spa at InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta.  He frequently attends local and regional continuing education seminars to ensure that he is up to date with current trends and learning new techniques to incorporate in his holistic approach to the profession.
